For our Class 10 project, we/our group/my team decided to focus on/tackle/explore a social issue that affects/impacts/concerns our community/school/local area. We/Our group/My team chose/selected/identified the issue of bullying/poverty/literacy because it's important to us/we believe it needs attention/it's something we're passionate about.

Our project involves/consists of/will include researching/investigating/gathering information about the issue, interviewing/talking to/speaking with people who are affected by/have experience with/work on it, and developing/creating/coming up with a solution/a plan/a proposal to address/help/mitigate the problem.
